GRIN - Creator Discovery & Management Platform
At GRIN I helped lead an autonomous product development pod focusing on reducing new user time-to-value and assisting brands to swiftly and confidently step into creator management, many for the first time.
GRIN Connect
GRIN Connect is a low-cost, self-service product that reimagines creator discovery and recruitment by providing a single experience to guide brands, especially those new to Creator Management, through the historically complex and time-consuming process of identifying and connecting with creators. The goal of GRIN Connect is to lower customer acquisition costs for small business users through self-serve and increase net revenue retention through up-sells.

Ideate
I began this project by documenting the user interactions we knew we needed in a user flow diagram, to understand the big picture of the feature better.

Wireframe
In the wireframe stage, the creator mix recommendation was initially a static view that displayed data to the user based on selections on previous steps.

High Fidelity
This view evolved into an interactive step where the user can experiment with different outcomes based on budget and goal selections, to find the perfect creator mix for their needs.
Chrome Extension
GRIN’s Creator Discovery Web Extension offers brands valuable creator metrics such as engagement rate, likes per post, comments per post, and more, facilitating the process of discovering and evaluating creators across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Pinterest.
In my role, I collaborated with two engineers to revamp the Web Extension. Together, we transitioned it from a pop-over layout to a side panel format, streamlining the user flow for enhanced simplicity.
While all users of the web extension can access basic features, GRIN customers enjoy additional functionalities. They can seamlessly import creator names and contact information into their GRIN CRM, set relationship stages, assign initial tags, and even directly integrate them into marketing campaigns.
Creator App
The goal of the GRIN Creator App is to offer creators a centralized platform where they can easily view and handle their brand relationships, including campaign tasks and new campaign requests. However, this project was still in its early design phase when a company restructuring occurred, leading to a shift in priorities away from mobile app development.
